FAQs

What are you doing for work?

As we mentioned in our About Us, we’re financially free! After years of saving, investing, and taking calculated risks, our investments now generate more than our previous combined salaries. This financial freedom allows us to fully embrace this chapter with our kids. While inflation may mean we return to the workforce someday, for now, we’re savoring these moments. This time off has also opened us up to new business ideas we hadn’t considered before.

Where will you end up?

We’re still figuring that out! We’ve lived in different spots across the U.S. but haven’t felt completely content just yet. We originally planned to settle down so our daughter could start kindergarten, but now we’re even considering homeschooling to continue this journey. We’ll keep you posted as our plans evolve!

What makes you different that other travel blogs?

While we discuss destinations and RV travel with toddlers, our story is about more than this. We share the steps we took to reach financial freedom, hoping it can inspire others to realize their dreams, whatever they may be. We want everyone to know that they can realize their dream too, by achieving financial freedom, even at a young age AND they can do this with toddlers. Your toddlers can enjoy your dreams too!

How did you decide to travel full-time in an RV with toddlers?

Living in an RV had always been a dream of ours, though we pictured it as a retirement goal rather than something to do with young kids. But when we found ourselves less fulfilled by our jobs and dreading daycare drop-offs, we knew we wanted a change.

We briefly considered leaving our jobs and keeping the kids in part-time daycare to explore our local area in Charleston, SC. But ultimately, we realized we wanted to spend these precious early years with our kids in a more meaningful way.

Thanks to the investment choices we’d made, we had the freedom to take our life in a new direction and travel with our kids full-time. Though the idea of RV life with toddlers was challenging, we couldn’t pass up the chance to go for it!
